Serve asparagus at room temperature or chilled. Pick asparagus that are medium to thin in thickness rather than large. The larger asparagus are more fibrous and not as easy to eat.
Ingredients
Bunch of fresh asparagus stalks ( about a 1½ lbs. washed and dried)
Olive oil
Fresh cracked pepper
Sea salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 F
Cut about an inch from the bottom of the asparagus stalks
Place asparagus in a baking dish
Drizzle with olive oil
Add fresh cracked pepper and salt
Toss to cover all the asparagus well
Roast for 10 minutes
Carefully move asparagus around in the pan shifting the bottoms ones to the top
Roast for 10 more minutes
Remove asparagus from oven
Let cool completely and serve at room temperature or chill and serve later
